Teca-Print is founded as Tecalcos and quickly establishes itself on the market with pad printing machines and accessories.
The « Tecalcos 120 » is the first pad printing machine to be produced in Thayngen.
1977
Due to the great success on the market, the construction of an own manufacturing and office building becomes necessary.
The name Tecalcos is changed to Teca-Print AG.

In the 1980s, cooperation with sales partners is established worldwide.
Subsidiaries are founded in France and the USA, soon followed by Germany and Hungary.

The building is expanded and still acts as the company’s headquarters today.
1983
Development of the FLG 100 flame treatment unit, which utilizes propane gas to generate the flame.

The development of the sealed inking system is a milestone for pad printing.

Multi-colour prints are now possible with a sealed inking system.

For comfortable and fast multicolour prints the Transfert Carré with electric motor is developed.

Teca-Print becomes a member of the French Dubuit International group, which specializes in the various printing processes.

The first microprocessor-controlled machine generation with servo motor conquers the market.

Teca-Print achieves the initial certification according to ISO 9001.
In addition to quality management, environmental management is certified according to ISO 14001.

With the TPX 100 Édition Cadrans for the watch industry, Teca-Print launches the first application-specific equipped machine.

The TPX 221 Édition Compteurs takes the increased quality demands of the watch industry into account.

Coins can be decorated with up to 7 colours on the TPX 301 Mint Workstation with integrated camera system.

The RDM 100 rotary printing module is driven entirely by servo motors. Cylindrical as well as flat parts are printed with high precision.

The demands on automation are increasing: In addition to the printing process itself, the focus is on camera control and many other technical extras.

Modern, with a focus on the essentials: The electromechanical delta III is the first machine in monoque design.

Electromechanical screen printing machines are developed and successfully introduced to the market. The high precision of the screen printing units guarantees perfect performance even if integrated into automatic systems.

The first systems with the myTeca-Print software application are delivered. With the application, machines and systems can be programmed, parameters and functions can be changed at an external workstation.

Thanks to innovative development work and cooperation with a well-known manufacturer of highly conductive pastes, pad printing is becoming increasingly important in the field of printed electronics.

Teca-Print celebrates its 50th anniversary. 50 years in which Teca-Print has played a decisive role in developing pad printing.
